We all need to evaluate the images
As we continue in the wasteland of media images we need to remember how important it is for everyone to evaluate content that is presented. A quote from Ernest Boyer "It is no longer enough to simply read and write. Students must also become literate in the understanding of visual images. Our children must learn how to spot a stereotype, isolate a social cliche and distinguish fact from propaganda, analysis from banter, important news from coverage."
